[02:32] The first live listener reading
Our first reading ended up revolving around understanding self and self-perspective via belief systems. Prior to the reading, the listener had received a clear message about making a move in her business, describing it as a flash of insight. To us, this was a great foundation, and it felt like a scaffold, like it was going to keep building the more she said ‘yes.’
The listener explains that she switched out of the corporate world and into coaching, which she absolutely loves, but that she’s beginning to burn out on one-on-one calls. She describes feeling like she’s about to cross a ‘scary bridge’ by moving into group coaching, as the one-on-one sessions help her bring in a consistent income.
We felt and heard very clearly that even though it felt like a scary bridge, it was a bridge that had already been built for her, that she has been given everything she needs to make her vision work. Jessica’s clairsentience showed her a lever going back slightly financially in order to go forward much further than it had been before. She also heard that this move was going to help her expand in an infinitely more sustainable way.
Andrea kept receiving a message of ‘writing’ during the conversation with the listener, which reflected the listener’s love of writing and her ability to connect with people through writing in her business. Combining the messages received from our clairs, we shared that the listener would have more space to write when she began condensing her one-on-ones into a group setting, and that she should follow her passion.
[06:53] The importance of spiritual hygiene
Through her work, the listener described feeling like she is connecting to a greater kind of consciousness of the community and how they're struggling, and that she is passionate about communicating that they're not alone. Her writing allows her to make this connection, but she also feels like she’s taking on the energy of other people, often leaving sessions carrying around their heartbreak.
Spiritual hygiene is especially important in these types of situations, so we decided to pause the reading and dive into how she could process the energy while she’s working and not hold onto the energy like it’s her own. Her compassion was causing her to take on client energies and she was leaving sessions feeling wounded.
When we first began discussing spiritual hygiene, the listener shared that she worried about letting go of their energy because she wasn’t sure if she would still be able to connect to them without it. We were able to discuss why she wouldn’t lose that ability by protecting her own energy, along with steps she could take to shift her perspective in ways that would lift away current limitations in her helping process.
[13:40] The 30,000 vs 10,000 ft view
Our first listener was struggling with direction in her business. She described having many clients reach out with contemplations of whether or not they should be working in corporate anymore. In her own life, she had chosen to leave corporate behind, but still felt as though she didn’t have enough experience to show them the way out.
Spirit made it clear that it was important for us to remind her that even though she didn’t feel like an expert in that area, she was still steps ahead of where her clients are in their journey. Spirit wanted her to trust that she has the experience, knowledge, and the wisdom to dive into that, and kept sending messages that clearly stated, “Don’t worry about being an expert.”
Spirit also wanted us to mention that this step of her journey was more of a big picture moment, and that it didn’t need to happen right now, that it was going to evolve over time as she continued to follow her inner knowings and spiritual nudges. This comforted our listener because she described feeling worried about needing to immediately transition. Andrea often describes the difference between a 30,000 foot view and a 10,000 foot view to our clients, and this was a great example in this moment. We described this transition as a 30,000 foot view, and discussed going back down to 10,000 feet, to the idea of letting her energy flow and grounding anything that would be helpful to her, being mindful of her belief systems and shifting her perspective.
[18:40] A recap of the first live reading
Jessica found it fascinating that the reading brought up the 30,000 versus 10,000 foot view because Andrea frequently uses this example with clients, and it felt like a perfect dance of permission and clarity. When you get messages from Spirit, you still have a choice. You can choose to follow a nudge, put it off for later, or not follow it at all, but it’s important to know the difference between the 30,000 foot view and the 10,000 foot view. This example gives you permission to think outside the box. When there’s something that you know you have the opportunity to embrace, you also have the ability to defer. Spirit is just showing you that it has potential to be expansive for you.
[20:11] The second live listener reading
Our second live reading was with a listener who felt she understood the guidance she received from her Tarot cards, but wasn’t always trusting herself when it came to understanding the meaning of every card she pulled, or where to go next. Andrea discusses the importance of stopping in these moments of hesitation and taking a few moments to breath and ground before moving on.
[23:53] Writing, Tarot cards, and developing self-trust
Jessica shares with our listener that making the space to write with her cards may allow her to experience an unfolding of self-trust. This is because it involves putting thoughts down onto something tangible that she can look back on, reflecting on what her intuition has told her in the past. The more she recognizes that she can trust her intuition, the more self-trust she will be able to develop.
With this practice, the next time she draws a card, she will have more trust. This creates a building block of trust, or a ladder of self-trust. While she’s able to trust Spirit, she begins to encounter problems when it comes to trusting herself to be interpreting what's coming through in the way that she thinks is the correct way. The beauty is that there is no correct way that messages come to us. Spirit made it clear that no matter how she receives messages, she should do it with the thing that she feels most confident about because she is in the confidence building stage.
[27:06] Cards and their connection to energy
Andrea shared with our listener that the cards we are drawn to are often a connection to the energy or being that we’re seeking. For example, when we work with Angel cards, we are saying that we wish to be in and strengthen our connection with Angels. Our listener works with Angel cards, Oracle cards, and a Divine Feminine deck, which all tie in with the Divine Feminine. Jessica felt that although our listener identifies very strongly with the divine feminine energy, she hasn’t experienced it in a balanced way, and so her cards are helping her explore that. Every time she pulls a card, she’s trying to understand it in a way that's balanced, whole, and empowering, not passive, even though people tend to think of the Divine Feminine as passive. We know that the Divine Feminine is fierce.
Jessica described how our listener’s work in the Divine Feminine would cross into her daughter. Describing it as doing the heavy lifting for her, her daughter won’t have to forget what Balanced Divine Feminine looks like because it's always going to be present for her, and so she gets to start life way further down in the race.
[33:09] Knowing how deep to go with cards
“How deep do I go?” Our listener asked how deep to go in her journaling and research of cards, or if she should stick to whatever she felt like was enough, which is a very good question. We want you to trust your intuition, so on days where you feel journaling is enough, stop at journaling. If you feel led to do some research, then take some time to research. Jessica encouraged the listener to think of her cards like a phone, where you're just having a conversation with Spirit, using cards to communicate. Sometimes Spirit will lead us a bit further into a conversation, but it’s not going to be a must for every single card draw.
[37:46] A recap of the second live reading
Our second reading was such a beautiful reading in its affirmation and clarity. Our listener was already receiving the guidance and using the tool, but wanted to be clear on what would work best for her. Spirit sent us messages that sent her on a more clear and straightforward path. The message in this reading was to trust your tool and your way forward and let it evolve.
