We’re back! Welcome to season two of the Adventures with Spirit podcast.
Have you ever thought about the meaning of the word ‘adventure?’ Unknown danger. Remarkable experiences. Uncomfortable moments. Exhilarating opportunities. Adventure can be all of the above. As psychic mediums, we like to consider our spiritual experiences as adventure, and over the past few months we both have been experiencing some really uncomfortable moments. We want to share how listening to Spirit saved our sanity, and help you understand the specific tools and practices you can use to navigate your own journey with more confidence.
This episode, we discuss:
[00:10] The definition of adventure
Adventure: An undertaking usually involving danger and unknown risks and an exciting and remarkable experience. If you’re looking for an interesting juxtaposition, look no further. In the months leading up to the second season of the podcast, we've discovered that sometimes the adventure is wonderful and unexpected. And sometimes it's really uncomfortable.
[02:50] Following the message when the meaning is unclear
Even for psychic mediums like us, the message from Spirit isn’t always clear. In this episode, we share our experiences of following the message despite not knowing what it really meant or where it would lead. And in each situation, it turned out to mean something completely different. In the end, the main takeaway is that we allowed Spirit to help us. We listened. And that was the key to receiving the support we needed.
[09:38] Why it’s important to hone your practice
Jessica shares why her recent experience showed her the importance of working on your practice when things in life are going smoothly. When we take times of peace to practice connecting with our guides, it allows us to connect more easily with them in our times of chaos. Although Jessica’s practice looked different over the past few months, she had set up a foundation, and through that she was able to be supported by her Spirit guides in her time of need.
[11:50] The impact of trusting without proof
Trust can be a difficult word. Andrea shares that she often hears, “How do you trust when you don’t have proof?” Our answer? It will show up! Even if you are unaware of it, if you keep practicing that trust and your faith, knowing that it’s there, we promise that it will show up to support you through the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your adventure. If you don’t understand yourself and don’t do the work, if you don’t allow the assistance of your Spirit guides, then you’re playing life with your hands tied behind your back.
[13:49] What to expect on the podcast this season
This season we’re going to be moving through different ideas, ways, thoughts, and modalities - introducing the practices that you can add to your spiritual toolbox. It’s so important to have multiple tools to pull from, especially in times of chaos or grief. We’re going to use these tools to help you better understand and embrace yourself and your connection to Spirit.

How do you use your Tarot, Angel, or Oracle cards? For many, they are used for divination, asking questions about the future. For us, here on the Adventures with Spirit podcast, it’s about self-exploration.
Belief systems - we all have them. They surface when we attempt to create change and break away from existing patterns in our lives or when we have an automatic, sometimes unpleasant reaction to a situation.
