A Quest for Deeper Understanding and Connection
We were chatting with Karin Bruere last week about how animal communication can help us understand ourselves. Of course, I was thinking of Leo and how we help each other. I looked at Leo’s Akashic Records last August for the first time. I’d like to share some of my notes with you.
The teacher (in his Records) shared with me that animals reincarnate quickly when they feel the need to be with someone. They feel or hear our hearts calling and find their way to us. I love the thought of this. I think of a homing beacon they follow to find us.
I learned how Leo helps my family and how I can best help him. The italics are snippets of the reading. Leo requires us to continually meet his needs which in turn, help us meet ours. It is a perfect match. This already helps me understand myself, I notice when I am too worn out to happily take him for a walk–when the walk is really for me. He is my requirement to make it happen. For real, that was one of the main reasons I decided to add a dog to the family.
My family hasn’t healed from the passing of our beloved dog in 2015. Leo is meant to be with us at this time. His main purpose is to expand our hearts and reassure us it is safe to love and worth the “cost” to do so. He has been with us a little more than a year and my heart has a bandage on it now.
I best help Leo by teaching him to trust. His last life cost him that understanding. He was betrayed by those closest to him. … This will ebb in time with patience and his understanding that he is safe. He will always be on guard; it is who he is by soul nature and his purpose. He remains ever vigilant. I was shown many battle scenes through his lifetimes. He seems to be the soldier dog, the guard, the protector in each role. He was a really big dog last time; super smart and fierce in all the best ways.
The teacher told me Leo goes to those who need him most. This life is a rest from war. I also see where they told me not to baby him, um, I should have reread that earlier. He is happiest rolled up in a blanket on a soft fluffy bed. Oops.
Leo’s history is interesting and helps me to understand him. But the real gold here is the way in which Leo’s needs and behaviors help my family see ourselves and the things we need to understand. He is a mirror for us. A clear indicator of what we need to support for him and for us.
Our animals tell us so much without saying a word. What is your fur baby telling you?
